New Exp 214270 pick up - Preston's at Leeds.
Good afternoon gang,
Just thought I'd share my new pick-up. 214270 Explorer I that I got from Preston's in Leeds (UK). John, the salesman, is a top guy so I'd recommend anyone from the surrounding area to head there for your Rolex needs. I changed from Goldsmiths after not getting the sales experience that I would have expected since buying 6 Rolex's from them. I also got a bottle of champers and Rolex aftershave (pictured) with one of my first buys from them. Top guys. |

Congratulations Mike! The Explorer is such a great piece and one that I am constantly drawn back to time and time again. Glad to hear that your buying experience was top notch. Enjoy it and wear the heck out of it!

Thanks! Great piece. I had one previously and sold it, so I guess I must like it still.

Congrats on the Explorer I. I've yet to receive a gift, so it's nice to see it still happens.

Congrats mate! I’ve had mine for a week now and I love everything about this watch. It’s a perfect, no-nonsense piece that checks all the boxes.

Congrats Mike on a timeless classic!
Out of interest what other references do you have in your collection? And why pick up the Explorer now? |

116610LN 116610LV 116503 116710BLNR and of course, the 214270. I got the explorer because I love how it looks on the Oysterflex, which I have on my sub date. I intend to change them up when I have time. I've had the Exp 1 previously, it was the one without luminous numerals. |

Can we see the sub on OF? I’ve been thinking of doing this with my sub. Did you use endlinks? Nice explorer.

Smartyendlinks.com. Get the Daytona ones, sub can be troublesome. |

Congrats bro! I'll definitely give Preston's a try in future if I were to get any more Rolex I've had enough of Goldsmiths now after given the runaround
