Tudor Bucherer Black Bay Bronze

Anyone knows what’s the situation with the supply for it? Is it a limited run or is production ongoing for the foreseeable future?

It’s still being produced, an on-going model. I just bought one.

Here it is! (I’ll post an “incoming” soon)

Have to admit i like the look of it too. Hearing it only comes with one strap now instead of the NATO and the Leather?

Didn't Tudor release a similar watch this year?

Yes, a darker brown version of the older one. The Bucherer version is dark blue.

The newest one actually has a slate gray dial, not dark brown. It looks to have a tropical effect, where the center is more faded than the edges, so it might look slightly earth-tone in certain lights. It comes either on a black leather strap or black NATO, but not both. It replaced the brown-dial version.

The Bucherer website lists both the leather and NATO strap on the blue watch, so presumably it still comes with both.

I stand corrected. Slate grey dial.

I think they both look nice, I would opt for the gray dial simply to skip the hassle.

Just in case my photo has too much yellow in it or too dark, here is a Bucherer pic.

A cool watch and bringing more than msrp in the USA. I own the brown and am on the list for the new Grey/Black dial one. I will also purchase the blue if I can find it at what I consider a good price in the future.

Probably the best looking watch Tudor produces. The colors are just perfect. What's the diameter on this watch? Is it 43? Does it wear large? This has been on my wish list for a long time

The last 3 on here were listed at $4.5k. Retail on the standard bronze is $4k

Not long ago they were listing at $6.5+. Clearly more are coming to market and the prices are reflecting it. A $500 premium isnt bad, now is probably a good time to pull the trigger if you want one.

If you can pull of a Skydweller or SeaDweller, this watch will fit you well. It’s a little large for me, I’d recommend it to someone who has a 7” wrist, my wrist is 6.75” and you can refer to my wristshot of the watch in an earlier post above.

After tax back I paid approximately CHF3530 from Bucherer.

Thanks for the reply. The SD43 fits me well so I'm guessing this would work for me. Can you post a picture from further back? Hard to tell much on size on close-up shots. Thnx

Looks good. I think it looks like a larger watch, but I wouldn't say it looks large on you if that makes any sense. Stunning watch for sure

According to measurements I've seen posted online, the SD43 has a lug-to-lug span of 50mm, excluding endlinks. The BB Bronze has a lug-to-lug span of 52mm, so I would expect it has more potential for wrist overhang.

Fit of BBB

I have the brown dialed version and wear it on leather straps, primarily. My wrist is 6.5 and it works well as the lug to lug is 51.5.

I picked one up about a month ago in London...The AD said that she thought they would discontinue it soon as it looked similar to the new slate grey bronze watch the recently released...Not sure how accurate that is or what.

Anyone know any details on how long the production run will last for the BBBBB?

Damn. That is a beautiful watch. If my skinny wrists could handle it, that Tudor would be on my list!

Congrats and enjoy!

I was at Bucherer last week inside Selfridges Oxford Street, London, and they had at least 3. 2 on display and at least 1 brand new in a coffin.

The Tudor version only come with one strap from sometime starting in 2018 but the Bucherer come with both to the best of my knowledge.

It is a gorgeous watch in person, I almost bought one last time in London and still regret passing on it.
