DD 18038 question

Does the date and day change over instantly sometime around 12 or does the date disappear for 3 hours and day go halfway before changing? I bought a 18038 single quickset and around 9pm the date disappears for around 3 hours and day goes half way through until right after 12 when they both change instantly

I didn't think anything should be happening with quickset around 9pm. I could be wrong though. Service will sort it anyway.
