Oyster Perpetual 39
What is the forums general consensus on the OP39. As the entry level model of the Rolex lineup I could see how it would be looked down upon from certain users here. But factoring in the scarcity of steel sports in todays market, one could argue that this model could in fact be a bargain given the price.

Oyster Perpetual 39
Hi. There have been several threads on this topic. Check back and have a read through.
I love my white 114300. Definitely a bargain for what it is. I will say they are (at least the white and black) becoming harder and harder to get these days. In demand or not, it’s a great piece! |

I think OPs are cool whether there is a shortage on something else or not

buy and wear what you like.
The best watch in the world is the one on your wrist- Morgan King OP39 is a true great watch imo, many watch enthusiasts and famous collectors in the industry have a nod for the OP |

If you're so worried about others thoughts on buying an "entry level model" so much, then buy PM if that's you're reason behind the purchase.

Looked down?
I don't think so. It's a no frills but functional watch. It's still a Rowwlecks Cheers |

Get it in black and it's a great alternative to the EXP 1.

Having said that, I get the feeling that the OP line is well respected by most forum members. I have the same watch as you and I love mine. Randy |

I believe that the OP is the best value Rolex currently available. It is functionally equal to any other Rolex for telling the time. I also think that it is the closest in the lineup that actually reflects the actual $$ value of the watch. It can be sourced from an AD without anguish and is less expensive to maintain than other models with elaborate complications that are rarely, if ever, used. If I were in the market, it would be the watch I'd buy.

I had a rhodium dial. After a while I became tired of it. It was just too plain. A well made and solid watch, though.

Not one of my favorites but a nice watch. There are a lot of alternatives in the price range of the OP39. I would look to Omega/IWC for a more interesting option.
