One thing AP - that deployant clasp isn't very comfortable. Just my 2 cents :)

If you switch to a rubber strap ; the flexibility of the strap makes the clasp much more tolerable and I daresay comfy. Leather can be stiff

you can also try to turn the strap around - eg mount 12 at 6 and 6 at 12 - if that makes sense

AP deployant sucks a..s. One of the worst designs I've seen and experienced - looks nice but wears horribly. I took mine off after a week of torture, swapped to a tang and never looks back.

Anyone know where to pickup an AP rose gold tang buckle to replace the deployant?

Try this first, sometime swapping the straps over works on certain wrists. Then I'd go for a rubber on tang, buy it all from AP maybe ask Clearwater in the US, think it looks better than the leather as well as more comfy and versatile.

It must depend on how tight you like to wear your watch because I absolutely love the deployment, it’s an absolute must on which ever AP I own.

Different for everyone.
It's highly dependent on the shape of your wrist. I have a thin but flat wrist shape - single deployants from multiple brands do not fit me comfortably. Double deployants are usually more comfortable for me.

I too find the AP deployant super uncomfortable and switched to a diver strap and tang on my ROO RC.
Perhaps the cut-outs to spell out "AP" add to the discomfort with lots of lines of sharp edges.
I'm considering another ROO - anyone know the size on the pin-buckle for a Hornback on a 42mm ROO?

(BTW: It's deployant, not deployment. Deployment involves sending troops out into the field...)

I have a deployant, or deployment (whichever, who cares) on my RG chrono and agree the design isn't great. I also think the clasp you see when its closed could've easily been much more interestingly designed.

However, yours is surely too tight. I wear my watches snug, as I hate them moving around, but these aren't heavy and I suspect you could loosen it a notch.

I didn't like the leather strap and immediately ordered a rubber one for mine, which is much better and more comfortable.

Although I don't think the deployent (deployment) is well designed, in this case I'd not change it for a tang buckle.
