Hans Wilsdorf

On this day (July 6th) in 1960 Rolex's founder Hans Wilsdorf passed away.

Give him a thought while admiring the object on your wrist and quietly thank him for what he has given us all.

Thanks Hans

And take a look at the most comprehensive post about Hans Wilsdorf — and some amazing pictures of him and, at the end, the only known filmed interview: https://www.rolexmagazine.com/2010/0...and-rolex.html

Great post Charles... kudos to Hans W foresight, in structuring his company to remain as he wanted it to, decades later

R.I.P. We are truly Blessed to be here surrounded by others who are enjoying the fruits of their labor and the folks at Rolex. For some it is one and others it is many. I never dreamed I would have three and the enjoyment would last over Fifty Years.
