that's what we all think but we need concrete evidence to point fingers.

As the saying goes, if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck, looks like a duck then it is a duck. No need for 'concrete evidence' in this case. Some people just have a very low moral compass.

I'd be careful shipping with FedEx. Everyone THINKS they insure watches but they don't. Here is the info direct from their website:

Dude thanks I’m glad someone is pointing this out - if you go and declare a tiny box worth $10,000 at FedEx you are putting a bullseye on yourself. It’s the most stressful part of watches for me is the shipping. I imagine filing a claim with a third party insurer wouldn’t exactly be easy either... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

This has to be one of the craziest stories ever! Subbed for results on the "Missing Watch".

I agree it’s difficult for anyone who hasn’t had to file a claim since the process can be daunting. But not because of the reason you stated. And - by using “crooks” - it sounds like you’ve had a bad experience. Sadly I’ve had to file a couple of 6 figure claims in last 2 years and all went smoothly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

If I were the seller I would go to the local police department and file an official report. Hopefully, he can remember who he gave the watch to at the store so that person can be interviewed by the police. Also wonder if there are any cameras at the drop off site.

I’m sorry to say after the run around with the hulk and the wire not being sent along with false papers showing the wire. I would have zero faith at this time that the seller actually shipped you a watch. Not to mention the suspect story where Fedex computers were down.
I would start pursuing getting a refund for the blnr and let the seller deal with fedex. I could be way off but that’s my 2 cents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

No word on here, but OP does have a brand new BLNR for sale right now in the For Sale Rolex section under Classifieds. Maybe it’s the missing watch?

Latest Update - to end the case.
Fedex USA didn't bother to communicate with my local fedex. no footage found. so they just close the case and return me the amount as stated on the custom documents. basically useless. so the case is closed. at least i got back half end of shitty situation. thank you all for contributing and all those who helped me along the way! love this community! |

It's the seller's responsibility here. Gaoxing84, you deserve a full refund from the seller.

I haven't used it, but UPS has a division called Parcel Pro that is setup for high value items like watches. If I was shipping, i'd probably look into this.

Parcel Pro is owned by UPS. I used to use them and they were lame about paying out claims. Better companies out there for insured shipping Internationally. I have had full refunds of insured amounts in less that 30 days. No BS.
