seller back out

I had a deal worked out here with a member who had a watch advertised in the FS section. We agreed on a price, shipping and payment details and we both agreed. Seller comes back after I showed my wife the pictures of the watch I just bought her as her push gift saying that "He was very sorry and his wife promised the watch to his daughter" I'm annoyed.

If anyone know someone with a reference 115200 with blue or black dial and stick markers please let me know, trying not to have to go back and tell my wife I don't have the watch.

A deal is never done until it's signed sealed and delivered my friend.

Good luck with your hunt.

That's terrible. I hate it when a buyer or seller backs out, especially after speaking several times and working it out.

I have never and will never use this place to trade watches, so I have no skin in this game.

Having said that, a lot of fine folk do use this place to trade watches. I imagine such people might want to know about others who might turn out to be a bit flaky.

It’s an inconvenience for sure, but I wouldn’t lose any sleep over it. A deal with a stranger on the internet isn’t exactly a gentleman’s agreement; it’s a crapshoot. At least he had the decency to tell you he won’t send you the watch before he took your money.

Try doing sales for a living - days are loaded with this kind of thing!
