Tudor 79190 caseback replacement

Hi all,

looking to pull the trigger on a 79190 sub, but the caseback in engraved. Is that something i can change without breaking the bank?

Would it affect value positively, or not really? At the end of the day, id replace an engraved case back for a new one...

Many times it can be removed, without replacing the case back. Depends how deep. That’s another option.

Case backs are a hundred bucks or so and Rolex seems to always want to do a service if you want it replaced.

Light engraving is pretty easy to take off.
