Which green dial PM Rolex

After 12 years in the watch game i think i'm ready for a PM watch. First i was thinking about the new AP Royal Oak 15500or.. but all of a sudden i was not interested in that model anymore.

I've "always" liked the DD40 in ever rose with the green dial. but i'm not sure if my first PM watch should be in yellow gold. so i was looking further and as many here i really dig the yellow gold Daytona with the green dial. i know it won't be easy to get that one in the near future. so should i wait for the Daytona or grab the DD40, which i could grab anytime at my AD?

I would recommend getting YG. Some people do actually prefer RG or WG, but I find many try one of those first and it does not scratch the PM itch and end up flipping to get to YG.

Also, I wouldn't wait for the YG Daytona green dial. Unless you are a major VIP with an AD you have little chance of getting it ...ever.

I recently picked up a YG Daytona with back dial and champagne subdials and LOVE IT. I also considered the reverse PN dial of that and even on OF. Although, I would recommend the full PM bracelet for your first one.

Try them on often and then sit back, tune out the noise, and listen to which signs the loudest to you. Go with your gut.

As I think that DD’s olive green looks best with WG, for the poll I voted for the Daytona

While I absolutely love the Daytona YG Green Dial, the DD is just pure class.
I love mine.

I have the green Daytona and it’s pretty amazing. I tried on the RG day date w/ brown Dial and it’s pretty awesome as well. Bracelet wears very comfortable. The heft is yg Daytona is like no other. Obviously there is a value play with green Dial right now so obtaining it is def harder than the RG day date. Can’t go wrong with either. I’m tempted to get the RG day date in green OR RG root beer. Rolex’s yg gold/rose gold is stunning to say the least!

I have that DD and it’s my favorite watch. I do love the Daytona as well but don’t think you’ll be able to get one at retail anytime soon. I’d go with the DD
