WARNING: "[email protected]"

Fellow TRFers, a fellow member just informed me that there is a scammer out there posing as yours truly using the email address "[email protected]" (which is very close to my real email address: [email protected] - notice the "dd" instead of "db" in the scammer's address).

The scammer is going by the handle 'watchzone22' and here is an example listing: http://chronocentric.com/forums/chro...read;id=107606

Just got approached for a reference check for buddy Daniel here and naturally, it was another scammer with nearly identical email address.

Please always speak to sellers on the phone, check credentials carefully and communicate openly in the forum so we can bring more awareness/safety for all.

Yup. Don’t know if its the same scammer or not of course, but another similar email being used to pose as me.

Why do you have 2 accounts on trf? When you click on your FS in your signature on Watchrecon it brings you to this listing: https://www.rolexforums.com/showthread.php?t=679236
Which is a totally different username than the one you are posting with in this thread?

I don’t have two accounts. If you read the listing you linked, it is another member that referenced my username in the listing as someone he has bought from. Watchrecon picks it up from keyword search.

Correct. I don’t believe you can link directly to seller accounts but if anyone knows of a way, I’d be happy to know. I can confirm I sold a watch to David (dvn) as well.

Folks, I completely understand we need to put any seller or “seller” under the microscope; including myself. That was the the point of my thread here; to help folks as they do their due diligence. If anyone ever has any doubts about me as a seller, I’m always happy to get on the phone, FaceTime, etc. (and have done so many times over the years), :)

I'd take that off your signature, kind of weird and confusing....
