Incoming 126710 GMT Pepsi! But a question about the bracelet.
I was luckily able to get a Pepsi this week and I've worn it a few times (scratches already on the buckle) with amazing comfort. But I had a quick question for those who've owned it over time.
With the extra links and moving parts of the Jubilee bracelet, compared to that of the standard Oyster bracelet of my BLNR and LV Sub, does it tend to loosen a bit more over time or even loosen at all? I've had my BLNR since 2015 as my daily wearer and besides the beating the PCL's took (as you can clearly see in the photo) it fits as good as day one. As does my 2017 Sub LV. There's definitely a little more movement in the bracelet in the BLRO but so far in a good way. It aerates my wrist a little better in the tropical heat of Singapore and it's a touch lighter. I just have a little concern about it possibly loosening due to the many more moving parts of the BLRO bracelet. Any BLRO owners experience this? Many thanks! |

The new jubilees have solid links so as long as you keep it fairly clean it won’t really loosen. This is the case for any watch really, do your best to keep dirt and gunk out of the links since that’s what will cause the wear.
Congrats on the BLRO! |

It may loosen over time but we’re talking years down the road. Keep it clean as suggested above, I wash mine in the shower 2-3 times a week as I wear it almost every day.

The BLRO Jubilee bracelet does feel rock solid, but just has A LOT of moving parts, more than the standard Oyster.
What's even weirder is that my Submariner's clasp from 2017 looks as good as new while my brand new Pepsi clasp has gotten scratches on it from mere dust particles in the air and breathing on it. And holy crap does my "old" BLNR clasp look like its been through a world war in only 4 years. I can only imagine the horror that Daytona owners are going through with scratches. I always felt that a few swirls and scratches were cool, but over time. Not a few days in. |

That bracelet is a certified scratch magnet, which blows. IMO, the PCL scratches end up looking like trash and it's unfortunate. Fantastic watch and even the bracelet is awesome, just wish there was a way to keep them scratch free without resorting to duct tape and safe queens.
The only reason I passed on the CHNR is because of scratches and when I'm offered a BLRO/BLNR I'll have the same tough decision. I'm glad to hear the jubilee is super comfortable, though! Awesome watch you picked up. |

PS to the OP: the only part of the BLRO that picks up scratches is the clasp. The PCL’s on the Jubilee do not show hairlines like Oyster links do and the sides of the case are generally less vulnerable to everyday wear.
I happily defy the naysayers here and have a piece of automotive Clearbra tape I cut myself on the clasp. At six months of almost daily wear my watch still looks pretty pristine and no one, including folks who have handled my watch, have noticed it. I’m not “saving it for the next owner,” I’m doing it because it makes me happy. |

Jubilee bracelet develops play quicker if worn often .Thats the down side vs the oyster.PCLs on oyster shows marks and scrathes, the jubilee doesnt .

The jubilee is wonderful. It catches the light so nicely. And, unlike Oyster PLCs, hide scratches.

Nice! I’m expecting to get the Batman on the jubilee/“batgirl” in the next couple months. I absolutely love the jubilee. Congrats!

Keeping it clean will go a long way in maintaining integrity of the bracelet.

I got my Pepsi few months ago and the bracelet is fine. You could pop into the store ask the AD to add some loctite to it.
