New user diamondclassic606

A couple of sellers today got messages from this user, diamondclassic606, that he's willing to purchase watches through bank check. As the profile says this user is very new to the forum and has 0 post history. He could be completely legit, just want to check if there are more sellers getting messages about potential purchases.

Got a message from him today as well. Here is what he sent me:

"Sounds good excellent condition. I would like to buy it and pay via bank check mail to you, once the funds is cleared you can ship to me.

I am located in TX Houston"

Mmm... 3 separate sellers getting the same message from the same potential buyer, same day. This could be still legit, isn't it? Trying to understand how to best handle the situation (i.e. be nice to a new member yet being very cautious as sellers given these red flags)

It's simple, if you don't know the buyer and don't feel comfortable don't do it. Common sense.....

Would you feel better if he told you he was a Nigerian oil prince?
