Sssd

Was going round and round. Blue or white? Or maybe even black? Too big or just right? Yes or no? Now or wait?

Of course, not being able to see one in the flesh at a single AD didn’t help.

Finally pulled the trigger and could not be happier. DavidSW. Smooth as silk.

Thanks to the many of you out there for your posts on this reference. I relied heavily on you input, photos, and opinions.

Quick take after less than 24 hours of ownership. 100% glad I chose white. Suits me better for a variety of reasons. Takes on a variety of tones depending on lighting. Great wrist presence. Not too big at all. Just right. Perfect on my 7.25” wrist. WG fluted bezel definitely adds to “bling factor” but just a bit, and not over the top. Great weight for me.

Excited to add it to the collection and get it on the wrist and out to the world.

Have a great weekend everyone!

Great wrist size for this watch. I wish I could pull it off but it's a touch big. Congratulations on a superb watch.

O ok photo fooled me. I'd be on board myself for a SS Sky in white or black.

The DSW knob slobbing up in here is unreal. Dude's charging a massive premium on all watches, some of the highest prices in the industry, and is likely one of the main reasons we can't find any in-stock (no way he doesn't have backdoor AD connections with those blank warranty cards) - yet everyone is shocked when they can get a NIB/LNIB used watch quickly at a huge markup over MSRP.

That being said, you got an awesome watch. I love it. You'll love it. Great dial color.

Keep in mind your also paying for a top notch reputable dealer. I’ve sold used pieces to him & I’ve found he pays the best price.

while i do love the "knob slobbing" reference, i was just letting the board know where i purchased it from and that the transaction went smoothly. was assuming someone would ask if i didn't. regarding premium and markups, sure some of them are nuts for sure, but reflective of the high-side of the market. but others can be had at a reasonable premium when sales tax is removed from equation. i would have been glad to purchase from my AD, but the wait was going to be too long (for me).
