Sell or not to sell Daytona 116520 P series? Defect watch

Hello everyone

Yes I bought a daytona 116520 P series back in 2001. Unfortunately had trouble with it and been serviced 3 times with Balance wheel changed for free by Rolex. It used to jump time meaning the minute hand would move 15 minutes while only 1 minute passed .... last fix was in 2008

Now it is working properly I think and it does not get any wrist time ... just a feeling that it is defected ... tried with Rolex NYC to get a new watch but they refused and said they will fix it ...

My questions are:

1. Anyone ever had issue with Daytona that series? Am I alone and just hard luck?
2. Should I sell it since I am not comfortable with it and how much does it fetch now? I read it is a Panna dial though mine seems white (don’t know how to attach a photo here)
3. Love the Pepsi a lot may be do some kind of a deal?

Thanks for any advice.

Hanna

If it doesn't speak to you, sell it.

SELL, SELL, SELL!

Sounds like it's lost the luster to you.
Time to get something else you'll enjoy without the headache.

Well it you don’t love it any more, why keep it? Just be upfront with your buyer(s). Never heard of a similar defect before. As for how much it can fetch, it depends on the condition. Assuming you have a full set and that the movement is fixed now, these go anywhere from 15k to 20k depending on condition. The P series typically fetches a bit more as is was a transitional model (skinny hands). Good luck!

That is a watch I would sell immediatelyy.

If you have the servicevice paperwork also it will showw the purchaserhaser that the watch has been well maintained by Rolex themselvesves.

There is no point keeping a watch that you don't feel confident wearing.
