GMT BLNR Bundle
Curious to get your thoughts on this!
Would you say that purchasing a ladies two-tone and full gold DJ is a reasonable enough portfolio to ask for GMT BLNR ("Batman") as part of a bundle? For some context, these are pieces that I will be getting as presents, so I'm not getting them for the hope of acquiring the GMT |

I would think the full gold DJ alone would be sufficient, but I’ve heard some crazy stuff recently. There was a thread yesterday that mentioned a guy in NJ having to spend $37K for his BLNR bundle from an AD...

Not surprised, I had an AD tell me that even if I were to purchase the gold DJ and a PM Daytona... it would still not be possible to get a GMT BLNR

Would they have the GMT sitting there waiting or would it be ‘we’ll try to get you one in 6 months’ kind of thing? As I’d want it then and there or no sale

I actually prefer the Daytona C (White Dial) but figured it was more reasonable to ask for the BLNR. Will try push for the Daytona for sure, if not, then the BLNR

I would be purchasing the DJ in a 2 months, which should be sufficient notice to get the GMT ready to buy together

I concur that you need to make sure that the BLNR is in stock (i.e. you don't wait for an indeterminate amount of time) and a discount should still be available on the gold DJ.
And natch, only buy it if you want it, not just because you can.

You can get the BLNR for like $18k gray market. That's $9k over retail. So if your bundle isn't something you really want, if you're losing more than $9k then you should just buy gray.

Yes u should be able to get a BLRO or Daytona from an AD. Some may take it others selling to grey already probably aren’t interested

I agree, would be stupid to buy a DJ in exchange for the BLNR... may as well go Grey |

I’ve had my eye on the Daytona or BLNR for a while now, will only pull the trigger if he can get them together. Will push for the discount and keep you guys updated on what happens!
