Heck, the greed and audacity demonstrated by the grey market is enough to make even Caligula blush. |

He did mention that he had to lower the price of the BLNR 3 times despite being brand new. The price is currently lower than the BLRO which has been worn several months. For what it's worth obviously.

pepsi demand will always be higher than the blnr with the jubilee...now if the rootbeer 2 tone came with a jubilee, that would be a hot seller!

BLNR settled firmly into the 16's now. $15k offer would probably get one.

BLNR is going to drop more.
CRM just released a new video about the current state of what they are seeing. They would have good insight on current and up to date market trends. Eric just reduced the price of the BLNR by $2k from 1 video. LOL https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nLywEA6twv4 I must admit I'm seeing softening as well of certain models - BLNR, LV etc...a few grays also saying the market is softening now. Lets see how it goes out within the next 6 months. Have a feeling its the start of the decline. |

When the dust settles 20 or 30 years from now, only one of these maxi-case GMT iterations achieved something of note. The 116710 blnr was the first bi-colored ceramic bezel for Rolex, a difficult task. Slapping a jubilee and new movement (already deployed in another watch first) does not make a future collectable.
That said, the current volume production of Rolex ensures none of the maxi-case gmts or subs are truly rare, and gives a hard ceiling to their future value.

When the first shipments of BLNR Jubilee hit the greys that I’m familiar with in Hong Kong, they were talking a big game and claimed “grey waiting lists” at $HK178,000 (from memory) - $US22,700. The biggest grey sold exactly one and got rid of his stock. They tanked fast in that microcosm and asking now varies around HK$139,000 to $HK154,000. Bear in mind small sample size.

We all know the markets been over inflated. I'm looking to add a new pepsi or maybe a 16710 but I'm in no rush, they'll be there.

The hyper pricing of ALL the steel sports will settle. We all know that.
I own a 126710BLNR and fully expect the hyper pricing to reduce ... but it still will command a premium. It was not long ago (maybe a year) that a desirable steel sport like Hulk would trade $3,000-$4,000 above MSRP. That is what will happen to the BLNR. The Pepsi will drop too. Because of the nostalgia/collector crowd, I would expect the Pepsi to fetch a grand or two more than BLNR when the dust settles. It is absolutely hilarious that the “anti-BLNR on jubilee crowd” think the world is caving in on it. Hello, there is a waitlist for it and it is fetching $5k+ on secondary markets — that’s INCREDIBLE performance for any watch! What is so comforting to those of us with one is the fact that we can wear it for 3 years then sell it for (say) $12k! That means we were literally “paid” to wear a highly desirable watch. Thank you very much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I was talking to someone saying rolex are pumping these out. Can't even lie usually it takes a while for new basel watches to come out. But people were getting these out quick

It does to the people, many on this forum, who gladly pay the price to get what they want now. Don’t expect the Daytona C to come down in price. Perhaps the steel bezels will eventually
