Good deal. Now I wonder how good they are at explaining mysterious crop circles... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

I think those disgusting (sorry…) relumed hands are to blame (as he said). Crap relume started growing a little mold, which consequently caused the lume material on the hour hand to expand just enough to rub the dial. Although, I do like Cooper33's answer and I was kind of leaning towards a micro alien race leaving Rolex timing circles as 77T suggested.

However, I put it to you, sir, that if there were enough moisture to form an actual droplet on the underside of the hour hand, the whole dial would display moisture damage. Any other theories, people? |

It’s not a perfect circle. Hence not a drag mark imho. Looks more like someone did something by hand to me. I’d stick to my theory of water damage and someone trying to fix something.

Wow. That's quite an impressive transformation.
Knowing that the ring was there before, I can kind of sense a very slight ghost of it in the first photo with the light reflecting off the dial. Otherwise you'd never know. Outstanding work. |

Looks great!
I wonder why people are buying all those beat to hell matte dials on Ebay. |

Wow! Is all I can say.
I followed this thread and was amazed to see the transformation of the dial. Looking forward to the end result. |
