you have to see this before ebay pulls it

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...m=170300517748

I will copy as much as I can - but you have to read his response to someone asking it it's fake...

Meet the seller
bullseyearcher42 ( 0 )

Item location:Campinas, SP, Brazil
Price:$350.00 Starting bid

On Feb-07-09 at 17:09:46 PST, seller added the following information:

The "R" on the watch model description stands for "replica/reproduction"... its not a fake watch, its a perfect reproduction, everything works 100% like on the original one, including the waterproof feature. These replica/reproduction watches are made by master watch makers to people keep their real extremely expensive one safe at the vault and at the same time use/exibit their desired item without the risk of lost it for criminals or damage it by accident... its the same on the hollywood stars and their jewelry collection.

How is this "replica" not a fake? According to the definitions below, a replica is an exact copy produced by the maker or under his supervision. Somehow I'm guessing that IWC did not supervise the production of this "watch." What the seller is describing is a definition of a fake! Note the adjective definition below:

fake1   /feɪk/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [feyk] Show IPA Pronunciation
verb, faked, fak⋅ing, noun, adjective
–verb (used with object) 1. prepare or make (something specious, deceptive, or fraudulent): to fake a report showing nonexistent profits.
2. to conceal the defects of or make appear more attractive, interesting, valuable, etc., usually in order to deceive: The story was faked a bit to make it more sensational.
3. to pretend; simulate: to fake illness.
4. to accomplish by trial and error or by improvising: I don't know the job, but I can fake it.
5. to trick or deceive (an opponent) by making a fake (often fol. by out): The running back faked out the defender with a deft move and scored.
6. Jazz. a. to improvise: to fake an accompaniment.
b. to play (music) without reading from a score.

–verb (used without object) 7. to fake something; pretend.
8. to give a fake to an opponent.
–noun 9. anything made to appear otherwise than it actually is; counterfeit: This diamond necklace is a fake.
10. a person who fakes; faker: The doctor with the reputed cure for cancer proved to be a fake.
11. a spurious report or story.
12. Sports. a simulated play or move intended to deceive an opponent.
–adjective 13. designed to deceive or cheat; not real; counterfeit.

rep⋅li⋅ca   /ˈrɛplɪkə/ Show Spelled Pronunciation [rep-li-kuh] Show IPA Pronunciation

–noun 1. a copy or reproduction of a work of art produced by the maker of the original or under his or her supervision.
2. any close or exact copy or reproduction.

I would also contradict the seller's assertion that it is designed to be used by someone who has the genuine article, as insuring the real IWC would be less expensive than buying this FAKE!
