Good to see the 'bumps' on sales section

It's good to see that the hot models aren't selling as fast with the inflated prices. Some gmt and other models been sitting for over month or two just being bumped up.

I'm happy to wait 5 years for a blro than pay double on grey

Yeah, there are bumps, but the drops in price are trivial. We’re not seeing any real effort to offer reasonable pricing.

Still, I agree that the longer they sit on inventory, that ties up funds which is not a good thing.

It's also laughable to see for sale topics with let's say a super jubilee bracelet with over 10 bumps asking twice the price you have to pay at a dealer.

Don't buy those highly overpriced items.

I think there’s excess stock with greys and flippers now. Hope to see some of the prices come down on the secondary market. It’s just gotten out of control with resell prices on SS models.

Yes, to the extent it eventually lowers prices to a more reasonable threshold to what someone will pay to acquire their dream watch.

I don't know if celebrate is the right word, but it's a good sign. If inventory isn't moving, the AD flipping will slow down, and the grays will probably take on less inventory in the short term while lowering prices slowly. Can't have money tied up in stock, or no way to make payroll.

It's simple supply and demand. The individuals who are able to pay more for the "hot watch" now probably have his/hers already. Now, prices should start to hopefully trickle down. A large cut in price probably won't happen all of a sudden, unless inventory is flat out not moving/an emergency happens in a brick and mortar facility. In that case, firesale, and the crazy lower prices from one spot will impact the rest of the market.

Think of a balloon expanding. If it keeps expanding, it will burst, or conversely, air can be slowly let out to maintain integrity of said balloon.

Incremental price drops and stagnant inventory at grays is a good thing for those wanting to be able to buy retail at AD.

yes it is! the longer the stock stays in grey dealers the less likely they will buy more of the same from AD. Their cash is tied up

I solid member had his BLRO up for the lowest I have ever seen one listed since it was released and he just pulled the listing. I’m surprised it didn’t move, granted he’s a private seller but a well known member none the less.

Will take time to ripple through the supply chain, but eventually the greys will realize they have enough inventory and will stop/slow buying.

The instant these models start showing up in dealer cases, we’ll se a massive inversion on the secondary market prices and someone will be left holding the bag.

I’ve noticed a bunch of new guys thinking they can get the same price as the established sellers. Not gonna happen.
