I think this is a good idea, but there are also viruses and tojans that steals your cookies where your credentials are stored.

The best is to be AWARE all the time and do not click on any link that is coming from someone that you don't know, which in my case i was not. I had a motorcycle accident and due to a broken rib, i was taking some medication that made me feel dizzy and sleepy, otherwise I pay attention and report things like this all the time, specially in ebay.
