The pilot is quite a cool looking piece wich I'm most certain would look great on you...... but the Diver would look stunning on your wrist

Here's a Big Pilot I tried a couple of months back limited to 500psc

Couple of years ago we were in the Paris boutique and they had the same model watch. I tried it on and she was encouraging me to buy it- she took the salesman's side. She even said "Put in the card and we'll sort out how to pay it later"!!

I couldn't believe it! That's the AP effect!!
Lucky You... You got a wife life like that ... Cheers

It does help if they share our passion. But thats the only watch my wife has ever said to buy. Any other & she tries to stop me from buying!

I'm as big of an AP fan as they come but to be honest I'd get an IWC BP first... particularly the PC model.

Yup! But the bracelets are pretty expensive. You're better off buying a piece with a bracelet from the get-go. Good luck!

You can with the newer style cases but not the old. If you look at the pics of the diver (above) you'll see two links (these are called plots) coming out of the case. That is the case where you can swap bracelet for strap and vice versa. The older style case you cannot. Google the end of days model for that case style and you'll see what I mean.

But as Bryan advised- always get a piece with a bracelet as they are horrendously expensive to buy seperately.

Diver caught my eye as well, due to the extra pusher. Than I came across the one I purchased:
