Gotta be bracelet for me, I've a spazzy hand & a strap would be just too fiddly

Bracelet for me. I don't like the gap and if I decided to put a leather strap on it there are plenty of options out there. Probably harder to get a bracelet after the fact.

Bracelet guy here; however, in this case, I would go with the strap.

The combo is sublime.

x2! I recently commented on another thread stating how good I thought this watch looks on all 3 known strap combo's. I would probably opt to purchase w/ the oyster bracelet, then add other leather and NATO options to the mix!

The Nato style strap is included so you can already change it around to start with and the bracelet is the lasting value so I would get that despite the fact I love the strap - might indeed source it later.

Is the "fabric" strap included a NATO? I'm assuming it is. Would it be of a similar style to those "tropic" NATOs I see for sale from time to time?

There is an ipad app about the black bay with a video on the fabric straps.

Actually I think I will use the fabric strap most and might even get one of the other ones they have. The video about them is really nice, I wonder how they wear.

Any experiences here with those Tudor fabric straps?

I'd get both.

The more options the better.

Bracelet, but may try to also source the leather strap. Pity that Tudor don't supply all three options (bracelet/leather/fabric) in the package. Hopefully can be ordered through an AD without problem. Regardless, would also order a (probably) Toshi as well

I personally prefer bracelets, but I think straps look great on others.

soon to become owner of the BB .. ;-))

any idea of the lug size? 20mm? 22 ..? can't figure out from the pics as I end up with 21 mm taking measurements on the screen.

Cheers

Prefer the bracelet, provides more focus on the gilt dial.

It's been noticed earlier the large distance between the spring bars and the case, can only assume this will allow owners to change out with heavier leather and nato straps.

I really like that watch! My preference would be for the bracelet - just think it is more versatile.

Agree... and I like the nylon strap with it just as well, if not more, than the leather.

This watch simply looks better on the strap imho. But that's on pictures! In the flesh it might be different. Personally i would wear this piece on a strap, never on a bracelet and while diving / swimming: take the sub or other rolex!
Curious what you will pick Cru!

As has been noted, the fabric strap comes with either the bracelet OR the leather band option. So you either get steel bracelet/fabric strap or leather band/fabric strap.

Anyone know what the difference in price would be?

Edit - Oh, here we go... just found this:

UPDATE: Hodinkee.com has reported that the official pricing for the Heritage Black Bay diver will be 2950 CHF (~$3200 USD) on leather and 3250 CHF (~$3500) on the steel bracelet.
