As others have said try one on if you can. Wrist size sometimes is not as important as wrist shape.

i think the polar would stand out more if your wrist is not as pronounced. that said, try both faces and see what works better. from my experience, the black face appears smaller at a glance. i've had both and always felt the polar looked larger on my wrist, which i wanted due to my 7.5" flat size.

I have 7.2 wrists and the subc looked much better on me than the Expy which looked too big, esp the white dial.

I'm exactly the same size and I think it looks a little big. Big in a slightly-flashy-but-not-totally-obnoxious way.
