If I could flip it to make a profit, sure. But it would have to be at least $1k under priced.

Yes many a time, nothing like grabbing a bargain. It's the thrill of the chase, but I always make sure it's something I like.

Yes. I knew I could re-sell that same day and make a nice profit. Still have the watch, though.

I bought a milguass black dial version one time because it was like 5 grand or something in 2010. I ended up loving it but from pics thought I would love the GV more. I flipped the black dial for my price plus paypal fees or so and bought a GV which I didn't care for and flipped it immediately and think I may have lost money.

I also bought a A serial sub in perfect condition for like 3.5K because it was a good deal. I ended up absolutely loving it on a nato but flipped it for a small profit but anytime I can buy a watch, wear it for a few months, appreciate it and determine how it fits in with my collection and rotation and then sell it for either a small profit or break even after all the fees it's a huge WIN for me. Like renting some luxury item and being paid to rent it.

Does a new in box Daytona 116520 steel with white face at $10,800 USD including tax fall in to the must buy it category?

yes many, those are the best kind of buys, if you can flip it and have the funds available to buy a vastly underpriced original rolex, why would you not.

Well, this one became more of a... 'Gee my current daytona is worth $8600 if I sold it now. It also needs an $800 service. So in theory I'm in to it for $9,400. Do I spend an extra $1,400 and get a brand new one instead and not do the service.' ;-)

Bought a TT GMTIIC for my FIL and shortly after, the AD called me to ask if I am interested in buying one more TT GMTIIC but with a twist, this particular watch was a gift and never used, its less than 2 months old and still with all stickers attached... Come with all boxes and card and manual ala the full set.. For the asking price of slightly below USD7K.. I CANNOT resist! I bought it immediately on the spot.. I was however disappointed to find that the date wheel stuck on certain days of the month, so I send the watch back to RSC, within an hour, all fixed with the assurance from RSC that the watch is in perfect condition.

Below, I share a photo of the above mentioned GMTIIC with casual NATO strap. Didnt want to post a pic with the OEM bracelet since it is very common here.

Cheers and HAGWE!! James

Yup ! The Tudor Chrono sport I just bought.
I got a call from my local AD that they were starting renovations and everything had to go and they were offering 40% off selected Tudors. I had just bought an Omega that week and had no intention of buying another watch for a while but this was just too good of a deal to turn down.
The Tudor Chrono sport was on my wish list so my wife bought it for me as a Father's Day gift !
