That's exactly why I got rid of my Sub C. Way too bulky and heavy. It wasn't comfortable to wear all day. The older ones I can wear for days and think nothing of it.

That's me. I love my 116619 WG sub, but the darn clasp nearly fills the underside of my wrist. It just isn't nearly as comfortable as many of my others and it gets booted off the wrist in short order.

I have to agree that I prefer the pre-ceramic submariner case design with the tapered body that seems to flow into the bracelet as one continuous line to the eye.

The new design certainty appears visually bigger with the wider more squared off case. I just like the way the classic sub body looks.

16610/ 116610 answer

I had a 16610 and now I have a 116610. The new one is much more striking and has a great presence. They also say that the ceramic bezel will not scratch. After getting used on me when I tried the previous version it seemed very small and outdated. It is as comfortable to use as the old one. The only bad is that in despite of have the Parachcrom Blue ... bla ... bla ..the watch still is having differences by month unacceptability. I mean forward in my watch or backward in others. If until the end of the guarantee in January 2015 did not fix I will sell it and return to quartz. Omega has a cute quartz model. I don't know if it has a modern size of case 40/41 mm.

Sorry to hear. It is a change from prior models, but after wearing mine for a few days straight, I must admit that I love it.

I love the Sub-C, so solid and comfy. IMHO,the Sub-C bracelet and clasp looks and feels great on the wrist, the older Sub's clasp and bracelet feels inferior and flimsy on the wrist compared to the Sub-C...again, it's my opinion only.
