Thank you

If I did not own a Rolex I would buy the GMT, simply because it does more; it tells the time in 2 zones simultaneously. I'm using my GMT II 16710 right now as I visit in Turkey. I can keep my zones straight for phone calls home at a quick glance.

As Bo (Spacedweller) wrote earlier, you can't go wrong with either.

Best of luck,

Chris

I have the TT GMT-Master II c. I don't like green that much. I do have an SS Date Submariner anyway. I love the GMT though. It is an awesome watch.

I'm with David - green is not my scene.

It's a matter of taste and personal preference. I have owned both models, but I for my part would prefer the Sub Date LV. At least to me, the SS GMT IIc turned out to be too blingy for my liking.

Yes, the new GMT IIc has a very nice updated bracelet with solid centre links and (socalled) "improved" clasp but I just like the OLD Oyster bracelet better, despite it having the old-style clasp on non-solid centre links. The old Oyster bracelet is proven by time and is a very well-made bracelet, indeed.

The ceramic bezel might be cool, too, but still I for my part prefer the old-style anodized Alumium bezel insert to the ceramic one. IF you damage the ceramic bezel insert, you would also have to pay a lot to have it exchange for a new one. A complete ceramic bezel including insert costs a wopping 1,324 US $ and the ceramic bezel INSERT on its own costs US $ 734! Unlike the old-style bezel insert which can be exchanged for around 50 US $.

But I suggest you try them both on and go for the one that appeals most to you. You cannot go wrong with either!

Best of luck!

Please post pics of the model you choose.
THANKS BO!!!! I won't be so careless when I hit something!!!! That's big bucks.

Voted for the GMT IIc, because I have one, but IMO they are both very nice. Good luck with your decision.
