Keep the Daytona and get the blue Submariner. I'd do it in a hurry if I were in your shoes.

Keep the Daytona and do the deal. If you are like me, in the future they would get very little wrist time and then thoughts selling them will occur. You'll love the WG Subc.

Yes--definitely. I just sold my TT sunburst and my BLNR to fund a personal grail. 116619 was a close second but lost out to a PP. More is less. Keep the Daytona.

I'm a less is more guy but in this case I would keep what you have. Very nice collection as is. Smurf is nice but not a showstopper in my eyes.

Much though I like the Smurf if you offered me that or three of your watches I would pick the latter option. From what I've seen, the BLNR and Daytona currently sell for a premium whilst the Smurf tends to be available for significant discount.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

This is a tough choice.  I'd choose to alter your game, like others, sell two - TT and DSOM.

If I had to sell three, I'd sell all FOUR

And also get a white Daytona

Then, done

Just depends on whether you prefer to build a collection and will really enjoy wearing more watches in some type of rotation or if you believe that "less is more" and want to wear fewer watches that mean the most to you. I say go smurf and keep the DSOM to leave you with a chrono and a smaller 2 brand collection. Build again from there if you change your mind later.

Very thought provoking post. With that in mind I am very much liking the yellow gold sunburst Sub. Not as stealthy though which is what many find appealing with the white gold.

For the smurf i would definitely flip! you have the DSOTM as a chronograph, i love the daytona but for a Submariner White Gold its got to go.

I've just received my WG Sub a few days ago. I absolutely love the watch, but letting go 3 pieces to fund it would be a tough call.

I wouldn't do it, no way. If you want the Smurf that bad, try and get it on four years interest free credit. If credit is not your bag, then save hard for a year or two.

I nearly pulled the trigger on a BLNR at my local AD yesterday. In a nutshell, he told me that I could flip my SS Daytona, that I was rocking at the time, and get damn near all my money back but the PM pieces lose significant money. He would not offer a penny discount on the BLNR but would have gone 10% on a TT Sub, possibly 15%.

I wouldn't. Get an LVc for color if that is what you want.
