Nothing changes for me. Bought two very nice pieces this year, one of them being my grail. I am done.

However, the Day-Date 40 looks pretty good. Need to see it in person.

I like the Tudors, but I'll be saving money on Rolex for sure.

I was hoping for a new Sub or Daytona. Where were all the SS new watches ( Subs, Daytona or GMT)? Well, looks like I will be sticking to my original plan of a new YM with the blue sunburst dial. I think it is the best dials Rolex makes (the green sunburst is 2nd) IMO. I like the new YM in rose gold but my funds only cover SS models.

The plan is to still keep saving for the YG YM II, it's been a long time coming, the only thing that might set that back is the HULK.

I think the Pelagos is a great looking watch and an alternative to the Sub at half the price. I know that most forum members are starry eyed over the blue Pelagos but I prefer the black dial and bezel myself.

No change.

I have bought too many watches in the past on a whim and I have no intention of doing it again!

I ordered a SD4000 within minutes of it being launched last year and very few of my watches now get any wrist time as a result.

I am tempted by the new YM but as much as I love the look of precious metal watches, I sold the precious metal Sub I had within 3 months of buying it brand new! It's just not me.

I desperately want a Ceramic Daytona SS and I shall hold out until they eventually decide to release one!

Nothing changes for me and confirms my 2 most recent purchases (both in the last 2.5 months) were the right thing to do. I have nothing on my wish list at the moment and am very happy to have purchased these 2 beauties:

Definitely getting a Blue Pelagos. I'm happy because given it's price, it won't interfere with my prior possibilities. Staying on track.

Nothing stood out for me. I like the previous offerings over this year. I've had a trade in mind that I'm sticking with.

The yacht master is pretty cool but there are a ton of other watches that are higher on the list.

I was planning on getting a YG DDII for myself for my 30th, but now that it seems to be replaced with the DD40, I'm back at the drawing board.

The blue Pelagos is certainly beautiful. I don't mind the dial. Despite being obsessive, the dial doesn't bother me as it does others. I suppose the problem with the Pelagos, in my humble opinion, is that the design is too minimal and can sometimes come across as plain or boring. I want to love it, but perhaps I'm setting the bar too high at Submariner levels, when I should really be judging it as what it is - a true tool watch.

Nope, nothing exciting. I am intrigued by the new movements, but I don't find cash burning a hole in my wallet based on the '15 offerings.

I have everything in the Rolex catalog that I'm interested in and can afford. I might have been moved to purchase a new one, if there had been something of interest and in my price range, but for better or worse, it is as it is.

Like I've said before, watches aren't my only interest and this month I've dropped a bundle on my other passion, which has laid dormant for quite some time.

The YG DD40 is only in one combo so it depends if you like it more than the DDII options. Only the new style glacier dial on plat would make me pause for thought.

I'm warming to the RG YM, might give the SS Aquanaut a run for it's money but need to see that matte/polished bezel in the flesh.

I probably wasn't going to get a DDII in '15 or '16, but maybe the prices will drop enough (around $20k here on the forums?) where it will now be a possibility. Not really interested in any of the 2015 Rolex/Tudor offerings though.

I share the same sentiment. Having previously owned the Black Pelagos, there was something about the dichromatic look and dull finish of the titanium that caused it to lose its initial luster. I fear the same would happen with the blue dial version

I will have to with "other" here. I'm waiting to see how Rolex will introduce the new movement. It would be a bummer to buy a new watch with a 25 year old movement just to have it upgraded to a new one the next year.

I'm looking at the smurf vs. Patek nautilus or aquanaut.

A 36mm DD is also in the running in distant 3rd- with the new 40mm DD, this might push prices down? And make it a more tempting buy.

The only watch that has blown my mind so far is the YM and it is out of my range. The others from Rolex and Breitling didn't really impress me. There are a few other companies I need to check out yet.

I may get a BLNR this year or try that blue Pelagos, or both.
But I was kinda waiting on Basel to see if anything blew my skirt up from Rolex...
