I have a BLNR and YM Platinum. Although I love my 16622 I yearn for the Blue Dial version more than I ever desired the BLNR. Both are great choices, but the comfort level of the YM case, mesmerizing dial and lower profile would win it for me hands down and I'm in lust with my BLNR =)

Definitely YM! I have the black dial 16710 and you have the Sub then you have to get the blue dial next. I've only had the YM a few weeks and it is very comfortable and gives you a whole different look from the black dial. Trade the Sub for the BLNR down the line after you recover from the YM. The BLNR I'm probably going to pick up next year. I've bought 3 this year and I have to get my wife one so I can keep buying in peace next year. First world problems fockas!

The BLNR would be my choice.

The pics on this thread are not making my decision any easier! I think both in my collection are inevitable. Just deciding which order to acquire them. Sub for BLNR followed by YM in 2017 may be the route..

For people that have both the BLNR and the Sub, how the wrist time split? What makes you go to grab one vs the other?

What would YOU do?
First of all, when you're talking about adding another Rolex, there is no such thing as "sensible". I think our wives, GFs, and friends must think we're all a little crazy when we start our plotting for the next one...can't you just hear them saying "but you've already got a nice watch" which is true, sadly.

Anyway...to answer your question, I would go with the GMT. It has more staying power in the collection, IMO. I had a brief fling with the YM, but the GMT is one I could see growing old with.

Couldn't part with the Sub so now have both! YM will have to wait. Loving the GMT so far, wears quite different than the sub but both complement each other well.

Congrats. The BLNR is the first and only SS Rolex model with the mesmerizing bi-color ceramic bezel insert.

Congrats! I just wear my BLNR and Sub every other day. It keeps them powered all the time. No need to manually wind.
