I much prefer that over the standard bezel.

It was bought in 2013 from a London AD, and sold to my company by someone I know personally. My theory on the bezel is that some Sea-Dweller bezels got mixed in with Submariner ones, and got sprayed with gold instead of platinum. They must have gotten through QC, and a few made it to market

Always a bit exciting when something not quite right turns up from Rolex!

Huge balls up by Rolex then haha

How does this effect value? And I wonder what there stance would be if you sent it in for service?

Rolex collectors love unique things. I think these will be worth $$$ in 20 years, if any modern reference is.
