I made this very same decision yesterday having a 16610T side by side, I decided on the Tudor :)

This sounds a ton like back in the day on other forums when 5 series owners hated on the 3 series because they weren't "real BMW"... Fast forward a few years and 3er owners hated on the 1er... Today everyone says the M2 is purer than the M4...

But back to the original topic... Hard choice I own both a 79090 and a BBN Eta... like them both and the both get more wrist time then my 114060...

Because I lust after this watch I would vote Tudor Prince Oysterdate Submariner 79090. I love my Tudor Black Bay but not as much as the Submariner!

Tudor Black Bay in house vs Submariner of 1995

Have both. Don't wear the Tudor Sub as much as I wear the BBN. Mainly due to the fact that it is so close to perfect I won't wear to do yard work or stuff in the garage.

They are both very cool watches and that Tudor sub is to me is a great collectible watch as it the BBN Rose.

Tudor Sub. Can't believe it's not 10 to 1 in favor of it in here. Black Bay is cool but doesn't touch the Tudor Sub.

I prefer the Black Bay in-house. It is modern and has the advantages of modern clasp. I would want to start my own thing with the Black Bay rather continue someone else's from 1995.

The Sub is special. Not sure if 1995 is technically vintage, but it is a "vintage" watch that exists in limited numbers and is appreciating in value. It also has some history built in.

The Black Bay is an amazing watch. It is not as "special" but it is a technically superior watch in all objective measures. Plus, you can add your own history.

So, which do you value more?
