Green for me. It's my daily. I truthfully couldn't care less if it matched my clothes.

A watch is an accessory, it doesn't need to match your outfit

Congrats on the decision!

Now, thinking about this has me craving the LVc as well. I think I'm doomed, have to grab it at the expense of my no-date, maybe in April.

I was in the same boat as the OP. I have a TT Bluesy and was looking at acquiring either the black sub or the green Hulk sub. To that point, I had never actually seen a green sub in person. As such, I was leaning rather heavily on getting the black sub. EVERYTHING changed when I arrived at the AD and they had both for me to try on and compare side by side. To me, it was not even a contest. The green Hulkster won hands down! Before then, I was like, "Am I really a green watch kinda' guy?" That answer was 'SMASHED' (Hulk, get it...okay, bad pun) immediately. Totally diggin' the beautiful green. And now, YES, I am a green watch kinda' guy!

Never a concern as to whether it will match this or not go with that. It goes with everything from suit to shorts (for me, at least). I feel I got the benefit of both the black and the green as the green sunburst dial has so many facets to it. In the bright sun, it's a very robust green that looks simply amazing. In the evening, one would be hardpressed to tell that it wasn't black. So I feel it's the best of both worlds (again, for me). The more I look at the Hulk, the greater my love for the watch grows. I think it's awesome. But at the end of the day, you can't go wrong whether you go black or green.

Nice write-up an image to boot.

I have the same dilemma, and also including the 116600.

Black is subtle, and versatile. Green, not so much on both those avenues.

Just my .02c

Good luck, I'm sure you will be happy with whatever one you decide on

That's not much of an opinion.

Thought it was 2 cents or $0.02 - not 1/100 of that.

I agree because Black Sub is versatile but if part of a pair, trio or collection, I would go for Green Sub.

Congrats to OP!

Black goes with any clothes you put on. Rolex needs to do a yellow gold Sub with the hulk dial and bezel.

Like others have mentioned, and this is my opinion only, black if it is your only sub. Having said that, the green is more stunning and if you think you can be ok with wearing a green watch every day then definitely go for the green.

Black if you are a conformist. Hulk if you want to stand out in a crowd.

I am biased to black as, when faced with your choice, that's the way I went. That said I think both the SS green and TT blue are really great looking watches on others but just could not see myself in anything but an SS black...
