For those so inclined, it can also serve as a reminder (hour specific) for taking certain 'meds'.

Man, I have to check to make sure I locked the back door a zillion times during the day. There's no way I'd convince myself of whether I'd already turned the bezel one click every morning.

When I wake up in the middle of the night, the dot helps me tell what time it is without too much thinking.

Yeah I came here to write the same thing, I actually used this trick after reading about it, pretty cool

Interesting.
No, (well you could do it however you want) when you get out of your car point the pip at the door of the mall or entrance to amusement park etc. When you walk out of the mall the pip will be pointing towards your car

Having a Solid Gold Bezel, I do feel entitled sometimes...

I just move it around to a location that makes me happy at that time...

Apparently, and this may well be complete BS, divers use the bezel to record elapsed time when submerged, in order to keep track of O2 usage.

Sure you don't use it to keep track of de-compression too??

Minor detail. Don't worry about it. No one is going to use their watch as a compass these days. If they need to, they deserve to eat it IMHO

No problem. I'm mostly fascinated by using it to find my car!! That's epic right there. I'm horrible at directions even if it's within 300 yards!

Wouldn't this depend if you are wearing the watch on your right or left hand?

On another note, I've noticed on loevhagen's Instagram page (great pictures) he usually has the triangle on the 20. Any specific reasons for this?

What difference would it make in regards to wearing one's watch on the right (or left) wrist?

If you put that much effort into triangulating the position of your car in relation to the mall door...you'll actually remember where it is parked, with our without the help of a bezel!
