Who decides nicknames for Rolex models? Because the SD43 needs a new handle.
How about “Shallow Sea Dweller”?
Red is the first color to filter out and it happens about 20 feet below the surface.

I think what we really need here is some guidance and input by our moderator Padi! He loves...loves...loves Nicknames!!! Some of you newer guys should feel free to reach out to him directly and ask him to help us out? Trust me on this...he’ll really appreciate your wanting his thoughts! Hehehe!!!

At least SD43 represents the characteristics of the watch and isn’t a silly superhero name.
SD43 - Sea Dweller 43mm But hey, the inner 12-year-old in some folks may feel otherwise. |

Sorry to be a spoilsport but the name Darth Vader has already been bestowed to an Omega Seamaster Cal 861 coined by the late great Chuck Maddox in the mid 80s.The Silver version is Analkin Skywalker before he turned to the Dark Side..

I vote we call it a Sea Dweller or SD43.
We all know what that identifies |

A while ago someone had suggested black widow. While I hate that name, from a resemblance point of view, it was pretty much on target.
SD43 is probably the best nickname it can have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
