Weird OP.

But I’m in the camp that fully supports paying a premium if you want it. Not sure I agree that an AP is “worth” more than this watch anyway. To me it’s not anyway.

But I digress. Congrats. No flames from me.

Haha. You’ve got balls I’ll give you that but you are the reason this grey market is thriving and everyone is having to pay a premium so not sure why everyone is congralutating you. To be honest it’s DSW that deserves recognition because he managed to sell this piece for more than double retail in less than 24hrs!!

Congrats !!! In this game you gotta pay to play. Btw 10k over msrp is not that bad it will take more then 10k of your time to get one at msrp.

Congrats, however I do not understand why you would pull the trigger if you were not going to wear & enjoy it. Not judging, just inquiring. I do hope you enjoy the GMT.

What can I say? It's a GMT Rolex. Perfect dimensions, fit, feel, finish. Colors are bang on and the jubilee makes all of the other sport bracelets PCL or not seem plain. Sorry I haven't had much time to "review" this. Just came in today and I'm in a little shock that it's even here.

I had such disparaging experience recently with AD. I'll even call them out. Tourneau in VA, Edward Arthur in MD, Govberg(who now is more of an enterprise than your friendly watch store - watch out what you say or you will be blackballed - pun intended), Meierotto in MO, and on and on. I've bought watches from all of them. Sold some back too. Their level of greed is unspoken and to be read between the lines. It's no different than our friendly grey dealers on here except their demands are up front vs the AD in no uncertain terms are asking that you buy PM or low volume like TT watches in order to be in their inner circle.

I get the pay to play phenomenon since I just did it, but I would rather pay my taxes up front, when I want to, and for what I want to on, rather than play the mind games that AD like to proffer.

You must be friends with the guy I saw driving a brand new Bentley GT convertible today. If you got it, get it. Good on you.

Congrats on a great watch. I have the WG version, not sure I can justify a SS version too. But I certainly respect someone who goes after what they want and gets it, no matter the cost. Wear it in good health.

I am not even convinced the OP is happy or even likes the watch. He simply wanted to be one of the first to have it. Seems everyone else is ecstatic though!

I am grateful to get my hands on it early. Lucky. And grateful. It’s a great watch!

Happy? Always.
