Did you have a rag or box of Kleenex close by to wipe the lotion off? If you went side to side, you're fine. If you went back and forth, def time to have it serviced.

This is a disaster. I wear mine for 15 minutes per day to avoid such incidents. I feel very sorry for your poor watch.

Mr Troll, The impact causes the rotor to get out of balance. Case will be heavily scratched and dented, even if not noticeable with the naked eye. Seals will be affected by the lotion witch also etches the crystal.
Your watch requires a full overhaul at a RSC with lots of new parts and a replacement case as well. A very heavy polish is needed to remove all traces of the lotion.
