You may be able to trade it straight accross fairly soon here judging by these prices. It’s like everyone has gone crazy for the LN and old BLNR.

Would be in the 4k neighborhood right now for BNIB BLRO. The BLNR has been worn and likely would need a polish before it’s sold. I just wonder if the two prices will converge even more over time. There was a new BLNR listed for 16.5k and they seem to sell used fairly quick around 14k. At least post Basel. Davidsw has the jubilee bracelet for 3k.

Ideally could find an AD that could make some money on the BLNR and source a new BLRO but it seems like many are several people ahead spoken for.

Do the flip or not, it’s the timing which is critical. I would wait even if my advice to you is do the flip. See how prices will be reflected when the market starts seeing new releases.

Personally I love the BLNR, so much so I passed on the BLRO when my AD offered it to me last Basel release and guess what, called my AD yesterday to put me on the list for the new BLNR.

Just overall a much nicer looking watch - more versatile and classy. I showed pics of the BLRO to non-WIS and they all said it looks toy-ish not to mention colors are off.

I’m not bias at all. If they nailed the colors on the BLRO I would be the first to admit I actually do prefer that color combo as a purist collector. Cannot day the same about the 5 digit BLRO. That’s classic!

Would I? No. I like the look of the BLNR much more and I think a jubilee on a sport watch looks horrendously bad like work boots/sneakers with a suit or 4x4 tires on an Audi A8. It looks forced to me. Just my .02. If I were you and I wasn't feeling the BLNR, I really wanted a BLRO, I didn't mind adding some cash, and I was confident I wouldn't feel any regret then I would.

Who knows you may like it more when you realize it is worth as much as a BLRO.

My BLNR stays in my collection; I absolutely love it.

On a side note, the new Seiko Spring Drive BLNR looks very nice.

It looks like your BLNR is a few years old, if you trade for a relatively new BLRO i guess you would still pay a good premium for it.

I believe that will be true. BLRO will become more available while the old BLNR will become more collectable.

I’m going to hold off for now. Feels like it’ll be harder in 6-9 months to try to find another BLNR and I generally regret selling anything after I do. Will see about adding a BLRO at some point in the future.
