Hate to say it, but I am at a point with the brand where I really don’t care what this is. If it’s anything I like I won’t be able to buy it from them. It was my favorite brand, have six of them, but there really is no room for customers like me anymore. Probably time to hang of my spurs.
Sorry for the disruption. Carry on. |

So they simply threw a red rubber strap on a previous 20 pieces LE – what a novel idea!
Wonder if those existing owners will be highly impressed by the fact they effectively now have 1 of 40 (excluding the CE version from 2017). |

Ah… the red week hand makes all the difference.
Those 20 WG owners can now breathe a sigh of relief. |

What I find amusing, and I'm not poking fun at anyone, is that 'we' get pissed off because AP is 'possibly' making subtle changes to a watch by 'possibly' just changing a few colour schemes and 'we' feel aggrieved. WTF? The WHOLE 44mm ROO line has been nothing more than material and colour changes for 25 years nearly.
I say bring it on. Innovate where possible (RD2 etc.), ceramic cases, etc. and then support the existing lines with a few tweaks here and there, other than banging out brand new models there's not much else to do. p.s. I don't give a crap about the poor old AP VVVVVVIP's that bought a 1 of 20 model only to find that there's another 1 of 20 model in a 'slightly' different config. boo effing hoo, now they have a 1 of 40ish :) Don't fall out of love with YOUR watch(es) just because AP might not be playing nicely as far as you are concerned. Enjoy what you've got. I love this place. Makes me smile for so many different reasons each and every time I come and visit. |

My suspicions are a platinum calendar with a rubber strap.
I would venture it isn’t titanium since a titanium full bracelet is extremely wearable whereas platinum (for most) may not be - and that they just released the Switzerland ice blue - maybe some feedback received was the wearability. White gold was done by the Japan LE, so maybe an idea they tried would be a platinum on rubber. Also while only a computer graphic - that does look more the white hue of platinum. |

Don't give up, just try something different.
Your purchases give you 'status', you just need someone to help you. I had a situation when I lived in the US, I bought a ROO Tourb, I felt that I was treated very poorly, it soured me to the brand in general, because of one poor AD, but I loved the watch. When I came back to the UK I let the UK Head Office know how poorly I felt that I'd been treated in the US. They couldn't have been more helpful, despite not having any direct purchase history with them. I now consider myself somewhat blessed that things transpired as they did, else I may just have bumbled along and accepted my fate, instead I couldn't be more effusive as to how good I think AP UK are. Why don't you try writing to the CEO of AP USA, explain that you are disillusioned and that you'd like for AP to help you understand why you are being over looked when you've been a repeated loyal customer. It can't hurt. However, if you are truly out of love, then there's nothing that can change that apart from possibly time. I hope things work out for you. AP are trying to cultivate an AP Family vibe and to lose a member of the family is something that I am sure they will try to avoid. |

This is a 25 year old who collaborated with AP to bring a special edition to HIS market. It is a really light weight model, comes with bracelet and two straps. I get really pissed with naysayers and put down comments. Take a second next time and understand what is going on before belittling an achievement like this. It's not a new model, AP only launch those once in a generation, but it's a new variation on a theme. Kudos to Horoloupe and kudos to AP for entertaining such a notion and being open minded to the concept and realising that the younger market exists and should be embraced. I actually really like it a lot. |

My personal opinion, frankly, not a fan of this. Very yawn worthy. Just another variation of the PPC.
Now, the ceramic openworks perpetual, yes, that's exciting.

I like it. Won’t buy one though. Probably couldn’t even if I wanted to. So not in any way exciting, but I’m happy to appreciate from afar. Don’t really know what else to say.
