honestly I see too many people on this forum with the big watch mentality, when they dont even have the wrist for it. I like a classic look better. Watches are trending to more reasonable sizes now which is good.

Still like the 42-44mm option for us big folk, but not for slim wristed. Then it just looks like some kid wearing daddys watch.

It looks tiny, but it's a beautiful watch.

I also wear an Explorer II (white dial) but on a 6.75” wrist, and I think it looks great!
Some pics here https://www.rolexforums.com/showthre...=655436&page=2

I do think the watch appears a little small on your wrist, but who cares?! If you like it, rock it. :-)

Although I have got the Bluesy another AD has me down for a DSSD, if it comes up I will have a look, if it floats my boat I will try to obtain as I have 2 boys/men already arguing who gets the Bluesy, nice to feel wanted.

Gosh, I just don't understand the focus on watches having to be oversized. Your Exp2 fits great. Quite honestly, the other pics look a little big. If collectors such as Ric Flair can wear a 36mm Day Date, I'm pretty sure you can wear a 42mm just fine

Brothers, you need a 47mm Panerai. That might fit you.

I know a lot of people think the DSSD is too thick but for me, I think it looks just perfect. Here's mine, side profile on my 8" wrist. All links, no adjustment.

And a 47mm Panerai 372 just to show that "big" watches are relative. A Sub is big in the orient. Not so in Iceland.

Fantastic watches! That DeepSea looks proper on you as does that Panerai. Do they make a 50 mm Panerai? You could rock that too.

Thank you. Panerai makes the Egiziano! That's 60mm I believe. Honestly, I'd wear it. More for the novelty though. The biggest watch I wear is a IWC BP. It's 1mm smaller than the Panerai but wears larger and has longer oal. The long lugs don't mix as well with my round wrist but it looks proportionate in relation to the rest of me. My smallest is 36mm so I have the whole size spectrum covered. I don't get the whole big watch vs small watch mentality. I wear them all.

The 42mm Explorer looks great on you, but I would not go with any watch smaller than that.

Haha, no, just giving an example. I'm from big people though. Pacific Islander. I'm only 6'1 but I'm pretty stout. People seeing me from a distance for the first time think I'm a stumpy built 5'0
