My first 5 digit

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The mirror shot is the best representation of how it looks/wears as opposed to a close up wrist shot. I always kind of thought the jubilee wasn’t my style but This has convinced me otherwise. It just seems to add a little more character or vintage-ish feel. |

True beauty and it’s my grail watch, currently looking for one , congrats !
Excuse my ignorance but can someone tell me why there is some difference in the painting bezel especially the red color is touching the 8 on the 18 index and other not? |

Great piece! 5 digit Rolex in my opinion were about the pinnacle of Rolex, especially towards their later production years. The GMT being one of the best of those models.
Wore this one for many years. Was my first and only for a long time and still one of my favorites.

Congratulations! You'll soon want a 14060 to go with that 16710!

Triple.Lindy,
Congrats on a beautiful 16710 - you will really appreciate it over time. I got my first 16710 in 1997 and still have it along with a 16600 from 2007. I swap them every month and have worn them 24/7 since 1997. I plan to pass them to my twins when they graduate from college. I have kept a log book on both watches with all the countries I have worn them in, all the aircraft I have flown, all the ships I have landed on and special events attended. Hope they will appreciate them over time. I plan to get a 14060M as their replacement when they go to my boys. |

When it comes to GMT, I think nothing comes close to this reference. One of the reasons why I picked the Tudor gmt was those faded colors ! If I’ll ever buy a vintage Rolex or watch, it won’t be anything else but this reference. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Can someone tell me if there is any reason to see some difference on 16710 in the painting bezel especially the red color is touching the 8 on the 18 index and some not? Is it a specificity to a specific year or serie , was it intentional or not? Thanks
