Green for sure.
Silver is nice and probably matches better with more outfits, but that green is too beautiful to ignore. Good luck deciding! |

Another vote for silver.
The green is gorgeous no doubt... but silver is more traditional, timeless, and versatile. |

Still looking for feedback? As a petite man with several Rolexes I say Silver! It’s complex and rich and subtle. Welcome to the forum!!

Obviously subjective however I would go GREEN all day everyday and twice on Sunday!
The green sparkles in the light while the silver is very bland. Best of luck on your decision you cannot go wrong with either of them. |

Welkom op het forum!
So basically you want the green but you're afraid it won't too match all the time with your style. Go for the one you're in love with. So in your case, go for the green. |

I would go green. Just look at the picture you posted - it looks absolutely amazing. I think it is by far the best DJ dial.

The green or Olive is my favorite and they should bring it out in the 41 size , if they do there will be a 3 year wait list

I asked my wife whether she wanted the blue sunburst, silver, or black dial on the new dj41 and without hesitation said blue! She didn’t want a “dull” color. I was shocked because I would have picked silver or black for her so she could match many more items with it. She’s been more than elated with her choice.
So…to answer your question…I initially say silver, but green is probably your go to since it’s unique, a beautiful color and it can morph into different shades of green given your clothes and lighting that day. GREEN. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I prefer silver for the classic good looks and the ability to match any outfit. Green is nice and if you do not care about being precise with your colors could obviously work. Down the road the green may not be a lasting as silver.

Rolex's green is out of this world ! This being said; I would chose green over any other dial for this watch.
My personal favourite is the combination of Gold / Black but once i saw green in person it changeed my mind. |

The green is beautiful. But if its going to be daily I think the silver will match just about anything where the green might limit you.

The green is special. The silver is commonplace.
Regardless, but the one you are drawn to most Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It depends on what other options you have. If you have another watch (eg. Cartier Tank) then definitely go green dial on the Rolex. But if this is your one/only daily wear, I’d definitely go silver.
Personally, I have a blue, Wimbledon, and silver dial DJ. In order of my preference, I’d rank them as Wimbledon, blue and then silver. But - if I had to choose only one - it would be the silver one, because of the range. Also, the silver is far from boring, as you can see in those terrific photos in the thread! P.S. And don’t worry about it too much, there’s no wrong choice here! |

For a one-and-only, I'd go silver. It will never go out of style, and there's nowhere you won't be able to wear it.
I'm also not a huge fan of that shade of green (and don't think it'll be as enduring as silver). Green is incredibly "in" at the moment, but trends fade. That being said, for a few hundred bucks you can always have RSC swap dials at service. If you think you'll want a green dial 31mm watch as well, I'd buy the silver and then express interest in the OP31 green. |

You know you want the green, so get the green. I wouldn't worry about it clashing with your clothing. If you get the silver, you will always still think about the green.

Help! Datejust Green or Silver Dial?
Silver. It’s much more elegant. More versatile. Goes with everything.

I would get the mint green, it's one of the nicest dials IMO. If you don't it down the road, you can always do a dial swap at service.

Hi everybody!
Thanks for the feedback. Everyone was very convincing and gave great intel. After much debating, i decided to go with the green for my first and only Rolex! I also did forget to mention that I own a Cartier tank Louis and will be switching back and forth between the two. Now my two watch collection is complete :) Thanks again!!!! I love this forum!!! |
