What a crap answer. They should’ve stood behind their product. Doesn’t matter 10, 100, 1000 bucks. If it breaks so close to warranty, and with newer models standing at 5 years, I’d be pissed off.

I love my Tudors all of which have functioned flawlessly.

I'm wearing this vintage "Big Rose" today.

Well that watch has some rock'n roll in it! Brb, I'll be on Chrono24 checking prices.

If they are giving the watch a service for 240 bucks I’d say you’ve done quite well and Tudor have looked after you. It’s 4 years old and while I get you are a little hacked off, it would likely have required service at some point soon anyway.

Yeah, I guess so all things considered. Just peeved that I've got a problem with the date setting more than anything.

What a smart comment, thank you. Maybe I'll do, that, perhaps to go alongside my Rolexes and Omegas, IWCs etc.

Bought my first Tudor about six months ago - a blue Pelagos, brand new from an AD. I am picking it up next week after a warranty vacation. Watch just stopped. Repeatedly. Not sure what was fixed yet (complete movement or just components).

I am picking up another Tudor when I pick up the Pelagos (a new Chrono) as I like the watches for the money. I just hope the Pelagos problem was a big, big fluke.

PS - five new Rolexes since then, no problems with any of those (written just for the Rolex haters)…

I hope your issues were just a fluke. I finally got my Tudor BB41 from an AD, and all is well a week into ownership.....LOVE the watch, and as soon as I figure out how to post a pic, I will. Red bezel, leather strap model.

So as you can tell, I'm a bit of a Tudor fan.

But my fondness for the brand is beginning to wane somewhat due to the fact I've had to send two of my four Tudors back for repair, and both with 'date issues'. Sadly, my Black Bay GMT developed the infamous date issue and I was without it for about 3 months whilst it was fixed under warranty by Tudor. Touch wood it has been OK since.

But my real issue with Tudor is now because of a problem with my Pelagos, purchased new from an AD in Oct 2017. I have a date setting issue with it. Essentially, when the watch winds down and one has to wind it to get it going again, the crown position to set the date does not engage and the date cannot be set. Even now when the watch is fully wound, the date cannot be set. So it has gone back to my AD who have sent it back to Tudor.

I have been sent a repair estimate from my AD as the watch is out of warranty and they say that it is due a routine service which will correct the date issue. This will cost me £240.00. The watch is barely 4 years old and not routinely worn.

So what with this, and the GMT date issue, I'm dubious of Tudor quality now, especially with date complications!

Shame, as it has kind of put me off the brand now.

PS - I've asked my AD to pass on my dissatisfaction to Tudor for what that's worth.
I purchased my first Tudor - the Black Bay Chrono Reverse Panda, from my AD back on July 10. Love the watch. It wears well on my wrist, looks great, and keeps decent time. I've worn it off and off most days ( I work at home, and switch out watches during the day sometimes.) I only used the chrono function a couple times when I first bought it, just to see how it worked.

Two weeks ago, I was actually timing something. Clicked on, clicked off, re-set. All good. Next click on.....it wouldn't click off. Pusher just pushed, no click, wouldn't stop. Bottom pushed had lost it's click as well. Hacked the watch reset, zippo.

Back to the AD it went, and they sent it off for warranty service. No timeframe for when I'll get it back. I know "feces happens", and this is a first world problem. But it is disappointing.

My 2017 Tudor Chrono stainless worked great for about three months. Settled into +3 a day. I wore it like I wear all my watches. All of a sudden stops. I sent into Tudor with Goverberg's help.( Not a fan of them by the way, easier to have them pack and ship). Tudor voided warranty due to "impact". I'm suppose to pay $365 for them to service watch. I made a post of this a little while back. I agreed to have them service watch. Almost five months now; no watch. Govberg keeps on giving me the six to eight week thing. If I ever get it back I'm selling it. However a Tudor BB 32 for my girlfriend has been running perfectly for about a year now. She beats it up good. Runs without a hitch.

Also, it's significant other, not girlfriend. Haa. I apologize. She wanted to let everyone know she swims a mile every day with her BB 32. Runs at -5 sec a day.
