Beauty is definitely in the eye of the beholder, but, No.

Absolutely yes. For so many reasons, starting with that it is exactly what you want (from what you are saying).

I have almost every sport Rolex from the current lineup and I barely use them, even though I still continue buying (and collecting) them and that makes me think about bundling some of them into something more “special”.

You can only wear one watch at a time, so in your case I’d rather have two watches that you absolutely love and enjoy.

Would you trade three steel watches for an oysterflex skydweller?

This is exactly where I am! I don’t have the resource to keep collecting, I wear my watches every day and if I had those two I think I would be more than happy

I think that would be my Rolex journey done and I can move on to other brands

That RG SkyD with the Rhodium dial is an absolutely killer watch!!!

I'd only buy it on full RG bracelet though. Dont like Oysterflex and I feel I'm getting ripped off with the rubber.

I agree here. I have a stainless black sky d and love it but would trade up to the rose gold on rhodium if given the opportunity, if you like it then fire it up. 2 for 1 plus a couple $$ sounds best. If you’re not a collector then 2 is a fine number! Good luck.

It’s so comfortable though and dresses up and down. You should try it!

The sky dweller is in a league of its own. I have it on the full RG bracelet and it makes everything else in my collection feel lame. On oyster flex i think its even more versatile. I’d do it.

I would also do a 2 for 1 instead of 3 for 1.

Ok don’t shoot me but: I’m not a fan of the skydweller. I had one on oyster and the case size thickness was uncomfortable for me, that being said I do love the Oysterflex bracelet and it could be the best option for this model in terms of comfort. I agree with some of the other members here, I would choose my favorite of the 3, hang onto it and pony up the cash for the difference.

Personally no. But you do you.

I would and did for a Daytona. But I love Daytona’s. So if you love the SD, then why not?

Absolutely not. You have a great trio. Not taking anything away from the SD, it is amazing but I wouldn’t give up those 3 watches for it.

With Rolex, unless you really hate the watch, I find it’s better to add without subtracting.

Absolutely make this trade. Steel watches are over valued at the moment. Use the hype as a way to obtain precious metal and complication!

I wouldn't trade all three, but I would consider trading the TT + whichever of the other two you like the least and adding cash as opposed to receiving it.

Good luck,

I would do the same if it wasn’t too small. I had the white gold flex Daytona, it’s so nice but just too small for me. I’m 42mm upwards guy

If you make this trade someone is going to be VERY happy and it's NOT going to be you.

The person you are trading with would be spiking the iphone after he finishes texting you accepting the deal. Much better deal for him than you IMO.

Definitely a no vote for me. That Sky-D is nice and a heavy hitter piece, but doesn't really do it for me, especially at the price of admission. I personally would get more enjoyment out of owning the 3 pieces that you already have.

I don't know how hot the market is on that Sky-D reference as I don't follow it. If it's soft, would it be better to sell all 3 pieces at a premium, then negotiate a good deal on a Sky-D purchase directly?
