Would you trade three steel watches for an oysterflex skydweller?
I’ve had two black skydwellers and lived them but could never get them to fit correctly, I love the rhodium dial rose gold skydweller on rubber and it has glidelock! I won’t buy a Rolex without glidelock anymore.
Thoughts on part ex new green sub, two tone black sub and sd43 for one of these? Would get a bit of cash back but that’s not really my concern. Anyone on here got one of these? It looks amazing to me I have a ym42 which I love which would be staying. Merry Xmas! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Absolutely no.
But then again, I would not trade any ONE of those watches for an OF SkyDweller. Definitely not all three. YMMV. |

Yes, the PM SkyD is such an amazing watch.
Different league than an ordinary Sub.

The thinking is that I can’t get enough of wearing this one, the fit, the adjustment and the fact it’s under the radar. The sky dweller could be my flashy watch and it’s a perfect two watch collection

That Sky Dweller is a beauty but I definitely won't trade all three just to get one and some cash, maybe trade 1 or 2 and add cash instead.

No, but then I don't like the Sky-Dweller anyway.

Dude, just saying.
If I were really in your shoes and wanted to make this happen badly enough, I’d move both Subs for as much as I could get, take that cash and some of your own, and use it to buy the Sky Dweller as well as you could. That would leave you with a pretty awesome 3 watch collection. WG Yahtmaster, Sea Dweller, and RG Sky Dweller. Whatever you do, good luck!

Like that idea. The only issue is that I find the sea dweller a tad uncomfy but it is cool Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Well, if you decide to move it, let me know. A good friend of mine has been on “the list” for it at multiple ADs for awhile now and he is growing impatient. The prices going up for 2022 just might send him over the edge into the grey market.

OP, you are I think alike. Out of your original 3, I think most members would say keep the LV, but for me, the two tone black dial sub is the keeper. I love that reference, so damn sexy cool (I know that sounds lame, but it is!). Good luck!

I know what you mean, in the right lighting it’s unreal. It sounds bad but I’m kind of losing the love for the steel models. I’m quite enjoying the models that aren’t as regularly seen , ym flex, skydweller flex, two tone subs, root beer, yellow gold Daytonas etc. It’s like the steel models have been so oversaturated and hyped it’s getting a bit grating now. The two tone sub is such a better watch than my lv, i suppose it should be at £4K more expensive retail Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I wouldn’t do this deal but I understand why someone else might. If getting cash back isn’t the issue then putting up some cash may not be either. Why not do two with some cash. Personally I would keep the green sub.

I would rank the wrist time of each and move the two that have the least. Then I’d trade 2 and negotiate the lowest price for the SkyD.
I’m all for keeping the ones I enjoy wearing and looking at. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I would keep the TT and do the trade with the other two plus whatever you need to throw in. I have a SS and a TT Sky Dweller so I'm biased. They have both been a bit fiddly to adjust for a comfortable fit, but I have managed it. If the rubber strap appeals more, it's still a Sky Dweller, and a PM one at that. Enough said.
