Royal Oaks Hit an All-Time High>>>>>>>

Congrats on the 15400st, definitely a lovely piece and wear in great health!

However giving the very close similarities between the 15500 and 15400, I find it strange that you “hate” one and love the other, so much that you had to sell it presumably only some months later given your timeline. I personally prefer and acquired the 15500 over the 15400 (and had the choice between the two couple years ago), but think both are still great watches, would have been over the moon with either.

Also agree with poster above that your most likely blacklisted by AP for reselling so fast as they do track this and is very frowned upon.

Given the discerning nature of watch collectors I don't find it so surprising that the changes AP made to the 15500 could ruin the watch for some.
And, if you've been waiting for a few years for a Royal Oak from an AP Boutique, how can you tell whether you're blacklisted or, like everyone else, simply 3 years into your 5 year wait.

Was it lack of monobloc case and lack of quick-set calendar, or was it the price? I would assume you’d take the 15202 all day if it were not north of $100k USD.

Congrats! 15400 black was my first RO. You have option to go rubber or leather strap where 15202 doesn't. End of the day, any RO is amazing and MUST have in a collection due to it's history and unique design from the greatest GG.

Congrats on the nos piece! I also happen to much prefer the 400 to the 500.
