YES! Blue Sky-Dweller is spectacular! I have traded both a CHNR and DSSD JC--zero regrets. The Sky-Dweller is a special watch. Absolutely breathtaking! Do the swap now!

SkyDweller is a big watch, yes. I always counted it out because of the size -- but actually after trying it on, it fit a lot better than I thought it would (especially on jubilee). It's a great watch, and between the two -- I'd choose the SkyD. You should go and check it out to see how you like it / how it wears on your wrist. Obviously very dependent on

Annual calendar + GMT though is kind of like a perfect one watch piece.

What size is your wrist?? I want to make sure you don’t end with a watch that is uncomfortable at the end of the day.. Also, your LVC won’t ding up like a fluted bezel does. I wanted to mention this because I have been there with a fluted bezel and it looks great and flashy but gets lots of hairlines and possible dings if you treat it like you would a Sub with ceramic bezel.

If Starbucks worth $16000 in grey, Sky worth $23000 in grey, then I will

I actually think the Skydweller is a cool watch. It’s got some nice wrist heft and presence, but I do agree that trade at face value is a no go. Negotiate that down, or sell the Sub if you can’t get the trade value and then buy the Sky D. No wrong choice, but get what interests you most.

Depends on size of your wrist and what else is in the collection.

I would make that trade, but I would say 3-5k is a better deal

it really depends on what you want.
From a value perspective, you could be reasonably close-ish. maybe a little less cash.

i traded a TT daytona + cash for a blue sky. I don't regret the trade, but i don't know if the blue sky will last forever in my collection. I find myself not wearing it for weeks at a time and thinking it may need to go; then, i'll wear it for a week and decide i like it.

I like the way it looks on me a lot more than I like the way it looks when i look at it...if that makes sense.

skyd for me, much more useful complication for those of us who travel and great wrist presence. One of the few watches I have owned twice and I regret selling both times.

Being the owner of 1 SS SkyD blue and 0 Submariners, I recommend the SkyD. I intentionally don’t own a Sub.

Yes I would. Not a bad trade if you got LV at retail. See if you can get it for $6k

I own and love both, but would definitely make the trade if in your position. The SkyD is a fantastic movement, and the blue dial is just stunning.

If you got the sub at retail, adding the extra 7k is like paying retail for the sky. Which then leaves you an upside for 4-5k if you decide to sell it.

If not and you paid market for the sub then likely breaking even after adding 7k.

As in moda green subs are 16k and jubilee blue skys are 22.5-23.

I would work the cash down a bit especially if on oyster.

Oyster sky’s are 20-22 right now.
