Nobody knows. If someone told you back in 2013 that the GMT will be worth a 100% premium in 10 years while at that time you could get it with a 10% discount you would think he's nut.

History often repeat so I wouldn't be surprised this whole watch trend simply vanish in the next few years and all GMT may see a price restart to where they started.

I think it will be all close together one day, with a slight edge to the Pepsi. I think the primary reason the sprite is more right now is because there are noticeably less of them out there at the moment, and there’s some hype around that. Green is something in en vogue right now, but green may be something that long-term is probably not going to be as desirable as the Pepsi.

I have zero research into this, but I think if you're going to wear it - the Pepsi is the better option.

If for whatever reason the Sprite goes sky-high in value, theres still going to be less buyers compared to the ever-popular Pepsi. And the ones willing to pay top-dollar will want it in unworn/excellent condition.

Sprite is a dog. Get a Pepsi, focus your “investment” capital elsewhere.

Buy Omega or Panerai. Can't miss investments, especially the special editions.

I think Spite will be like Coke in the future. It doesn’t matter left or right. It’s depend on the demand at that time

Absolutely impossible to say: it's like trying to guess next weeks Lotto numbers.

There's far too many variables, not least the fact that both are still in production, so we don't even have a finite number of pieces out there yet. The BLRO could be discontinued tomorrow, while the VTNR could carry on for the next 20 years. Or vice versa. No-one knows.

And then there's the fact that even short production runs don't guarantee long-term desirability. Take the SD4K for example - one of the shortest production runs of any modern Rolex and yet, while secondary market prices are high(ish), they're nowhere near what they could (should?) be. Buyer demand is a fickle beast at the best of times, so trying to second-guess what desirability will be like in 10 years time is pointless. (All IMO of course)

The Pepsi's popularity has never waned over the nearly seventy years since the introduction of the Ref. 6542. I'd put my money on the BLRO.

AI fun, from Bard:

"It is difficult to say for certain which Rolex will be more valuable in 10 years, the Pepsi or the Sprite. Both watches are popular and in high demand, but the Pepsi has a longer history and is more iconic. The Sprite is a newer model, but it is also more unique, with its green and black bezel. Ultimately, the value of each watch will depend on a number of factors, including supply and demand, market conditions, and personal preference."

Have no idea - and I do not care. You might have/got cancer in 5 years - and then who cares what watch "is that, this or the other" the next 5 years.

Buy the watch you like today.

TRF should integrate AI ASAP. I'm serious, leave typical questions to AI. Threads could get more 'human worthy'.

Lefty VTNR without a doubt once it gets discountinued.
Pepsi has a long run and it'd always have some sort of form of it being offered be Rolex. Hower lefty Rolex just screams collectible.itd be a future classic.

After wearing the sprite for a few days, the green-black is killer and I greatly perfer it over the muted pepsi ceramic colors. I am no pepsi hater, but I think the sprite will grow in popularity as more people try one on. It’s colors better match the times.

And this sprite vote comes from a right handed person

Ten years is a long time to wait to see if you made the right decision. Why not just buy the one you like better now and wear it and extract your value that way. Or better yet buy both since you like them equally well, that way you can’t go wrong.

Not keen, on the green.
L/H Coke, will be popular.
L/H Sub or SD could be next.

The Pepsi has an enduring story from the 1950's behind it which will always be more attractive than a quirky bit of case rework.
