Well, after the watch spent about 4 weeks getting serviced, I finally received it back and it is perfect!
I had them do a light polish as I wasn't sentimental about the patina and wanted a bit of shine out of it.

Last question, as this is my first vintage. Now that its serviced, came back with a clean bill of health, and was pressure tested; I should have no issue cleaning it like I do my modern watches, correct?
Just a bit of soap under running water with a very soft toothbrush.

Absolutely no issue cleaning these with a toothbrush and dish soap.

Avoid all those ridiculous watch sprays.

Looks great and congratulations on the pick-up.

Now that it's been serviced, pressure tested etc., you can wear it anywhere and pretty much do anything with it, it's an oyster case so waterproof to 300 feet. Wash away with soap and a soft brush as I do occasionally.

I went to Aruba with mine, swam in the pool, the Sea, but alas, a pack of Flamingo's tried to rumble me for it.....
