Well done, that´s the Sub to get! Do enjoy it, and wear the hell out of it for years to come in good health...that´s what it was made for!

Great choice ... Congrats!

And like any new (ND) Submariner bought this year it's an unofficial 70th anniversary Sub. (The original Sub was released in 1954, of course).

Interesting to read the sentiment changing around GS - I have to admit I'd never been attracted to the brand as it doesn't represent what Rolex does to me, and I find their watches too run-of-the-mill lookswise. I know the finishing is wonderful etc, but I don't really see it myself. I find their prices absurd.
GS really has crashed hard amongst collectors. The endless releases, incremental price increases for new models, lackluster / difficult repair service and plummeting resale are all very toxic. It didn't take long...

Congratulations! You cannot go wrong with a ND Submariner. The absence of cyclops makes this a true classic. Beautiful watch.

Beauty! How has it been wearing so far? Do you feel like it's too heavy/clunky, or does it wear nice as a daily?

I wear my 124060 every time I go swimming & beach, it’s a very nice and robust watch.

The honeymoon period has been good, after playing with the glidelock to tighten up a bit. The oyster bracelet is very comfortable.

Weight is fine and it just looks good with smart casual business wear.

Currently in Bangkok, and switched to my G-Shock, so I can see and feel the different in the thickness of the headpiece.

Funnily enough, my SA at AP boutique just reached out if I had any specific interests or requests for other timepieces…
